How couldn’t I have mentioned this during my analysis of the ministerial screening! Chief Audu Ogbeh was also a remarkable speaker during the ministerial screening at the Senate. Initially, I was one of those of the opinion that he is old and has been around for too long but I was better schooled on the day he was screened that he may be elderly but he is very sound, intelligent, experienced and knows his onions especially when it comes to agriculture, hence making him suitable for a ministerial position. It’s popularly said that old wine tastes better with time.
In the light of celebrating World Food Day today, I hope that our agriculture sector is better revitalized so we can have food in abundance, so people won’t go hungry to bed, food should be the least of our problem in Nigeria considering our arable land and various food crops that we have.
