Like we clearly know, one day cannot even be enough to celebrate Mother’s Day. 😊
On a serious note though, being a mother is one of my best gifts ever, yet sometimes the most challenging and the sweetest role ever.
I can’t even quantify the joy motherhood brings to me, not forgetting the little trials too. Life isn’t all easy as a mother (especially a mother of multiple) but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My first encounter was on January 12, 2011 (my life changed totally) and the third on August 10, 2018. I have had this role for over 8 years and 2 months.
Dear Lord, as you already know, this mother right here is super duper thankful and grateful. Alhamdulillahi Robil Alamin.
I am also thankful for my mother, my paternal grandmother (of blessed memory) and all the mother figures in my life. Without these wonderful women, I wouldn’t even be here. I owe them a lot. My mouth prays for them and my heart holds great memories of them, most especially my late grandma, particularly because she is no more, I still cry when I think deeply about her, as the cry cry baby that I am, my eyes are already teary now. May Allah grant you Aljanah Firdaus.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there and to all the mothers-to-be. May God continue to bless and strengthen us. May our labour of love not go in vain. May our children outlive us. May our expectations and dreams for them surpass our expectations.
